Anyone know anything about it these pumps? Thinking I could get it for my mixing bin/regular maintenance? That said I don't know if it's designed to run overnight, as I like to mix my saltwater Friday night to do tank maintenance Saturday and I feel like this is more of a use it for a task and shut it off kind of pump

I have one. They're good pumps but really designed for empty an area, think of it like a manual basement sump pump. Great flow and takes the water in from the bottom so it gets the job done but I don't think I'd use it for mixing.

It also takes standard garden hose barbs so easy to hook it up with a garden hose to dump the water far away. I use it to empty a tank quickly and keep it around for catastrophes.

It would work well for pumping from the mixing station or to empty a display. It is a good pump. What I really like is that it pulls from the bottom so It can get almost all of the water.

Ufff I'm going to go very retro here but in this way I also want to congratulate @00W for that million visits in this thread, Can we say that Joel is our captain planet? that in this thread he has managed to form a family with people so different in many things but at the same time so similar I think in more ( one of my favorites cartoons when I was a kid )

+1 for hygger. For the price, you can't beat them. I just set my wavemaker's wave frequency up to get my torches to extend. Love hygger

I have a pair of the Maxspect XF350 Cloud Edition on the tank now. A little too powerful for my little 100 gallon lagoon so I need to play with the settings to get it dialed in.

I run my 330s at 60% in my 70. 350s are twice as fast rpms I think, so you might try 45%-50%?

My Walgreens has a UPS drop off location. Climate controlled is the better option for those of us living in the middle of a desert.

i have one of those @Nor'easter Reefer . i use it to transfer the water from my brutes to the tank. mine doesnt have a switch to turn it on or off. i dont think its really meant for running for a mixing station. i got mine for a good deal in the open box section on saltwater aquarium .com

Im going back and forth between that and a reef breeders ato. Thats the only thing im really missing for a second system so i think im leaning that way

Right now I have them at 4 second pulse and anti-sync at 10%-40%. Almost works. I can probably get it there with changing the deflector aiming. I'm still get a lot of vortex bubbles so I may have to play with my RFG direction also. Shallow tanks are nice but a real pain for getting segmented flow and the stupid Ocean Direct sand doesn't help any. Luckily only about 33% of the sand is Ocean Direct, rest is Special Grade.

I also have the Reefbreeder's ATO on the Waterbox. Never had a problem with it although I think the fill tube holder is a bit clunky.

That's pretty neat! Does the airstone algae up and plug if I go a long time without losing power? Never left and airstone just sitting before

Yes they can clog up. The idea is pretty good but I don't like leaving a non-running air stone in a saltwater tank. I have a battery pump sitting on a shelf. I went battery instead LiPO rechargeable so I don't need to keep it plugged in.
