Sorry. Thought I'd mentioned it before. About 4 years ago I found out I have a slow progressing form of lymphoma. They don't treat until your blood count numbers are skewed badly enough, and they don't expect to eliminate it, but you can live quite long by managing it. So far I haven't required treatment, but my numbers are borderline, so the doctor wants to take a full body MRI to check my lymph nodes before deciding whether to start treatment. He gave me information about a clinical study as well.

@Rocks reef and @Imrahilwjz can I pick your brains? It started today, whenever my son goes from laying down to sitting or standing he gets hiccups. When he lays down they stop. Hiccups can be a neurologic thing, what do you think? Have you ever seen it before?

Hiccups are caused by a nerve firing out of sync and causing the diaphragm to be out of time with breathing. Pressure on a nerve somewhere? Just a guess, not something I've seen

I had chicken curry ramen tonight. My daughter made it last night. It was good last night, even better tonight.

That's the way my wife's spaghetti sauce is. Great the 1st night, amazing!! 2 or 3 days later.

Well, the thing is it could be a lot worse. This type of lymphoma takes so long to kill you (when monitored and treated) that you usually die of poor eating habits (or whatever) first. The treatment isn't as burdensome, reportedly, as radiation or chemotherapy, and the type of treatment he is suggesting lasts a year. After the year, most people don't need a repeat treatment for about a decade

Sorry to hear this Wes. Did you do biopsy yet to determine which lymphoma?
