The only reason I want one more is in case something happens to one of the cultures. The one I have is producing more than I need but I think when I upgrade it will be perfect.

Definitely agree about making multiple cultures. Id just start them small and grow them as your culture of worms reproduces

To be honest, I haven't been doing anything special. I throw in some AFR when necessary, and dose some AquaForest vitality and aminos when I feel like it. That big green one definitely is the happiest. I truly think happy gonis in our tanks are often the bigger ones. The smaller ones that I have almost are always unhappy and it's a challenge to get them to be happy (you will do fine though!). As you know, I have had great success with the "Goni dip", it almost always makes the coral just a tiny bit happier. Just keep parameters stable, keep them fed and find a nice spot for them and let them grow. Each day they get more mature, the easier they are to take care of!

Sorry for the mistake in comparing the medications. Here at home, the only thing we have is ibuprofen, motrin, tylenol for my wife and Jason, and acetaminophen exclusively for me, although I don't like it because I feel like it doesn't work.

Not all of them work for everyone.
Occasionally I'll take something, usually just Tylenol because it works.
I've taken alleve a few times and it did nothing but others swear by the stuff.
Just never know...

I agree about the health and size correlation. Im going to check out the vitality. I also believe in your gonis dip. I always said id use that if I ever got more gonis. (I got more gonis....) Are your gonis glued down? Do you pop them of the rocks to dip them? Sorry for 1000 questions.

Are the euphyllia you want to move attached to rock or on frag racks, Tom? I hate having to move corals, especially ones that are fixed to the rock work. I would also like to see a full tank shot!

The Torches and one hammer are on plugs the other two hammers are just stuck into holes in the rock. Moving them right now is pretty easy but everyplace that has the right flow and light is right in the fright path of the Foxface.

I designed the rock work around an anticipated growth pattern for the montis, birdnest and stylo but they're not even close to there yet so trying to get the euphyllia close to where they belong before the other corals grow in is a pain. The places I want them have too much flow currently. I may just end up gluing down the torches to chunks of Stax and then try to position them better after things grow in better. At least it will be harder for the Foxface to knock them over.

So I did a 25 gallon change today with red sea blue bucket and I have to say everything came back way faster than with either of the IO products.
And I beat the crap out of everything.
I also don't order anything from BRS but I ordered the blue bucket from them and it seems fresher than it usually is .
Almost fluffy.
I know that sounds weird, I know I'm a nerd and all but maybe they sell more???
Don't know just thought I'd throw that out there.
Plus it mixes in 30 minutes.

Ibuprofen always works for me, I’ve been offered opioids ( from doctors and not in ally's) and I’ve turned them down and told the doctors if 800 mg of Ibuprofen doesn’t take care of it I’ll call. I never had to call. When I was sick I was on dialysis and diagnosed with stage three chronic kidney disease. The anti rejection medication I’m on is hard on the kidneys. I’m not supposed to take Ibuprofen and Tylenol does nothing for me. On a few rare occasions I broke the rules.

I switched to RS Blue Bucket a couple of years ago, while Tropic Marin was having the problems with their Turkish blend. I like the blue bucket and it is pretty much where I want all of parameters except Mg so it works well for me. I used IO for decades but I like the way the RS mixes. I don't really buy into any of the major salts being better than any of the others but I do buy into stability so once I pick a salt I stay with it until something forces a change or I'm in another of my rejoining the hobby after a move phases.

I don't buy much from BRS any longer but they do move a lot of product.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) only works to reduce fevers for me. If my pain or headaches are anything not fever related, ibuprofen is what I take. However I try not to take anything because ibuprofen raises blood pressure and I have a commercial driver's license so my medical certificate doesn't like high blood pressure.

I dropped Ibuprofen for the same reason (I was 3b and close to 4, now I'm 2 and stable). I haven't taken it in about five years now. Acetaminophen is the only one in our cupboard but it isn't overly effective, so I need to be pretty bad off be I bother taking it.

You're fine John! I have one smaller green goni epoxied down. I like epoxying because I can still remove it if I want to to do a dip, but no snail or hermit crab can knock it down. I think my big green one is epoxied but I don't remember lol.

feeding patato flakes sometimes and alternating with bread smeared with whole plain greek yogurt. id say the temp is mid 60s range
