My wife was just grading my kids' homework and she asked my daughter why there were no dates on any of her assignments. I answered "Because she's not allowed to date yet."

Needless to say my wife was not impressed. BUT I know Keith would have been so I had to share it over here.

Is that a Bumblebee Snail I see? I've been considering picking up a couple because I'm beginning to get a few more vermetids. I always avoided Bumblebees, have they given any problems?

Harmless filter feeders, I don’t have a clue why they are back but they should eventually go away like before.

I have a few in my tank so far they have never gone away I like them.

Is that a Bumblebee Snail I see? I've been considering picking up a couple because I'm beginning to get a few more vermetids. I always avoided Bumblebees, have they given any problems?

That was John. It looks like a Bumblebee snail. I have 3 in my 70. They made a very noticeable difference. It took several months but there's almost no vermetids in my tank.

I’ve had them in my tank for over three years, cleared my tank of the vermatids and have not been a problem. I currently have between 5-10 in my tank.

Thanks Amanda. It's crazy how powerful that sting can be. It's my fault. The lobo wasn't secured to anything in the sand, and my conch or turbo spun it all the way around into my scoly.

Tom, I have about 7 or 8 in my 40. Like Tim and others said, they have done a number on vermetid snails. They eat the nassarius eggs off my glass and in my opinion look nice. Ive replaced a portion of my hermit crab stock for them.
