Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Looks like someone’s about to be a Poppa too!
I’m sure they breed like guppies but they have always looked like that. The males are smaller and slender. There’s a male at the top and center in the first picture.

I was going to post this a few months ago but then realized this is not a freshwater forum which explains why no one liked my build thread of my fish bowl and my solitary feeder goldfish. I’ve mentioned before my son’s 75g is a native species tank while his 55g is Tropical. My son was coming home from collecting some wild fish and posted a picture asking if I or his brother knew what they were. I said they look like guppies but they can’t be. His brother replied mosquito fish. I googled it and they are from the south east United States. Because their main food source is mosquitoe larvae,

they have been introduced all over the United States and world including India to help fight mosquito borne diseases. They are closely related to guppies and, although considered an invasive species in Ohio they do not harm the environment or native species.
That is extremely cool Kevin! Freshwater tanks were my first love. I grew up catching these guys in traps. It's cool to see them up there in your neck of the woods.

From looking at the map Mississippi is about as far west as they go in the Gulf of America states. 😉

Dogs, horses, fish and axolotl all fed, dishes done now time to feed me... Scrambled eggs with ham and cheddar cheese.
That’s almost a western omelette, bon appetite!

@kevgib67 The dendro colony came in a bit shy. I finally used enough putty to build a new garage and got it secured. What an animal, it has 16 heads!

Arrival.

Just because you have driven your wife insane and she is now in a mental health facility it does not mean you are free to go in search of another victim...

It was very good! I agreed onion powder and garlic powder and of course salt and pepper.
I used to use garlic salt for scrambled eggs decades ago, I’ll need to jump on that bandwagon again, I totally forgot about it.

Thinking about it, that's a good place to look for a sugar mommy. I'm going to consult with my wife to see if we can get out of this economic situation lol

Now that I can control my lights without giving my dad grief... I'm gonna set up my remora, finally. and do a blackout y'all said before I shouldn't be worried about the fish?
