Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I should have said: evening everyone. Sorry it's been a while been busy with football. The tank is doing well just did a bit of GHA brushing and filter replacements.

Looks about right, but id give Mississippi the edge over Louisiana in BBQ. I mean Memphis and the Mississippi delta are synonymous with BBQ. Louisiana is king of all states in food though imo. Hands down.
If you got to New Orleans and dont get murdered, you'll never forget the cuisine.
The food in Idaho is the worst I've ever had in any state if ever eaten in.
Period.

Just to be clear, not arguing now. I live in Oregon and haven't tried barbecue from any of those states. The "barbecue" I have had locally always needed sauce to have any real flavor. My brother does slow cooking with a Traeger and he made some really good moist pork, but when he makes beef brisket it's tender but seems pretty flavorless to me.
I've only really had "BBQ " from a place once.
It had no sauce.
Pork, dry.
Brisket dry.
Both very little flavor.
Stopped by the taqueria on the way home, don't really need the BBQ.
Now, I'm sure there is some bomb 💣 BBQ out there but I've not had the pleasure of being anywhere that is known for it.
Now tacos on the other hand...

I hate to hit and run since I’ve never posted in this thread before but I could not agree with this statement more. I’ve had it from many places, although only in WA and CA, and I’ve never once been impressed. I’ve never had a slice of brisket that I liked. Give me a nicely charred medium rare New York steak or an ribeye anytime over anything bbq.
Plus 1 for the tacos.
End of controversial take. I’ll see myself out.

Nice to hear from you Warren. Stop by again.

We’ll see. I did kinda come out spitting fire with the controversial takes. Probably best to lay low for a while.

That means he's using the wrong pellets and/or the wrong dry rub/seasoning.
Everybody else raves about it. Maybe my taste buds don't work.

wow kevin! looks delicious!
remi! you didnt tell us you were doing an upgrade too!! howd it go?

Hi Jill, it was not planned initially but 2 weeks ago I saw an ads where a shop was making 70/75 off on new old waterbox model. I hesitated to buy it last black Friday, my wife told me go for it. Since it has been a nightmare for delivery, finding a company to help me as I can't lift a 330 lbs tank alone... The worst was when all the cam lock screws where undersize and where to find the correct ones. New waters and boxes stayed more than a week in the living room.

The transfer went ok but it is stressful for fishes and corals, I won't lie. During the night 2 fishes (flame hawkfish and firefish) jumped despite the lid and it is my fault and feel sad about it, they never jump before. I have 1 torch head which seems not good also ( maybe I will throw it away). Hopefully all will go back on track now.

Anyway, don't hesitate if you want some returns of experience.

I mean, you guys tolerate me hanging around on the periphery, so I'd say he's good.

Good morning everyone for got to say that. I'm afraid covid may be stopping by my house again. One of our great nephews came by Friday for about an hour and he was in my lap loving on me most of the time because he's my buddy and was tired we thought just from playing too much. Then we got a call he has covid last night and this morning I woke up feeling like I have a fever with a stuffy head. I'm hoping that maybe I just over did it being outside in the heat yesterday.

Take care of yourself and get some rest. Push lots of clear fluids.
