It's alright. The Horny Toad is a decent place to eat, just stay out of the dark corners and you'll be ok.

We've also got the Crusty Javelina (or something like that?) that's pretty decent.

Just so you guys know, I'm very sensitive and easily offended. I cry easily.

I don't remember what cars I learned to drive in except that they were definitely station wagons overloaded with 60s era grocery store cash registers that blocked the rear view mirror. I do remember a couple of Pontiac wagons, an Olds wagon and a Dodge wagon. The Dodge wagon taught me how to drive in reverse when all of the forward gears went out about 8 miles from home and one of the Pontiacs taught me how to control a car on the freeway after losing the rear axle. Good things to know.

I don't own a Chevy or a Ford so I get a pass on that one, although I have owned both.

Looks like it's just called the Javelina Cantina but we prefer to refer to it as the Crusty Javelina.

I've had bad brisket and bad brisket is really bad, dry, tough and flavorless. I've also had good brisket, it is juicy and tender and flavorful, the sauce is added (if they use sauce) near the end of BBQing and doesn't overwhelm the meat. If you get to AZ, ring me up and I'll take you to The Horny Toad in Cave Creek. Good brisket, maybe not the absolute best but very consistently very good.

I was given my step father’s dad’s 1969 Pontiac station wagon that was green when I got my drivers license. I believe it hed a 350 in it and I could smoke the rear tires. We all called it the green booger. I got a job so I could get my first real car that I wasn’t embarrassed to pick up a young lady with. I wanted a Monte Carlo coupe but couldn’t find one and bought a 1974 Buick Regal coupe that was identical except for the rear lights

I went on another hike today, really big cliffs with awesome views. The trails all used to be farm lands, so there was a rusty car from a loooooong time ago. Pretty cool.

The second one opened after I moved further south so haven't been to it but it seems to get good reviews. The Horny Toad just is, been around forever and doesn't seem to change. I like its old Cave Creek vibe more than the newer Cave Creek/Carefree ritzy types.

No the ones with the fold under rear benches. They were used for hauling cash registers around so basically a pseudo van or truck.

I think it is something about the flow in this tank along with the so-so lighting as I've never had monti caps encrust that much before plating. The big green glob encrusting the center of my tank is also a monti cap. It started as a single blob about the size and shape as a common straight pin pinhead. It was a bailout from a since-murdered WWF Grafted Monti colony from my old Waterbox. When it grew to about a 1/4" diameter and had a few dozen polyps I glued it to a small real rocks frag plug. That frag plug went in the lagoon and was just set on the marco rock it is now encrusting. The mother colony was plating, as was the orange monti when they were in the Waterbox.

That's very interesting. They are great colors and look awesome in your tank. Never knowing the end result is part of the fun.
