Your list of long days is adding up Joel. Do we have room in the schedule for a vacation? Even a short weekend getaway?

I wish...
Summers here are very short and very long at the same time.
Would love a Smorgasbord world tour, see all of you in every place.
That would be so cool 😎...

The crazy stuff that just went on in a night check in on my tank. My conch stuck again and I had to dig out a snail from death. Night check ins are crazy

well got out the masonry saw and started cutting one side of rocks flat so I can put them up against the back wall and then cut some with a flat bottom to help them stand up.. Once the marco rock mortar gets here I will mortar them together making three sections and fill in the back and bottom of the rocks.
Here are two picks.
The blue towel represents the back wall and the ruler the tank bottom..
It is about three feet long and 20 inches tall at its tall part. Has a swim through if you can see it..
I want to be able to put sps and corals on the back wall so this is the idea instead of a rock pile..
I cut the rocks thin to save space..
The 300 is getting overhauled in a few weeks.
new rock scape, putting two 2 inch drains to sump on left side, doing away with three 3 drains on the back wall, reformatting the sump, adding ozone, ghl system, 4 echo tech dosing pumps and other goodies...

I will say that I prefer the look of the blues personally and that's what's important.

With that said, there are so few deep ocean corals collected that, as you mentioned, there is plenty of white light available to them in the wild.
I like a more blue tank on ramp up and ramp down, but I prefer a more 'natural' spectrum during peak hours. I'm normally not home at that time anyway, so don't really see it.

Good morning everyone! Hope you all have a good day. Spent most of the day sleeping yesterday trying to get rid of my migraine thankfully this morning it seems to be gone.
Good morning Amanda!!
