What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
not sure. I think I need to sump this crab.

I have 2 and I had to put one in the sump for the same problem, the other remains on the display without bothering anyone but if it happens the same future awaits it.

I had to sump my pencil urchin. I also found a fleshy limpet which I saw in the sump the other day. Prior to that something completely consumed one of my clove polyps colonies. The other colony is doing well, so fingers crossed 🤞...

My 3 pencils have not been a problem but they hardly move around. I’m assuming they found their food

Lol that makes more sense. I was wondering what else you would use.
I don't use power strips, except I do have one, for now, to handle all of the lights until I consolidate them. I've been using American DJ PC100A Power Centers for over twenty years. I mount them vertically so that the plugs outlets are pointed down which makes drip loops almost automatic. No surge protector to blow out and switches for convenience. There is mine early in the build. It is really just a power strip but I like this mounting setup and it is always in my cabinet.

I had a similar power hub. I loved the on/off switches. I went through two of them. They both shorted out. Had them plugged into a portable GFCi, Joel convinced me to get this Trip Lite with built in GFCI. I have everything but the main pump plugged into it. The main pump is on a UPS.

Good morning Tom! I’d be embarrassed to post a picture of what’s underneath my tank!

Guys I came to the lfs on my lunch break to get some more ghost shrimp for my office tank and scored this Marineland All In One for $20.00! I'm going to measure it when I get to the office and see how much it holds! Its got really thick glass and seems well made.

yellow watchman goby that was in it’s cave with it’s pistol shrimp. His planted tank just incase it becomes salt.

this looks like what i have been looking for! ordered one. thanks @tharbin !
Get the PC100A from American DJ (ADJ). There are a lot that look similar but aren't as well built. I have five of them and have never had a failure. I buy them through Guitar Center usually.

Notice I didn't use a current photo! Actually I'm retooling a little because my lighting got out of control: 2 AI Prime 16 HDs, 2 AI Prime Grow Blades, a 11" Meridian and a Tunze EcoChic Refugium.
