Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I should add, I don't plug the power center directly into the wall I plug it into a self-resetting GFCI that is plugged into an outlet behind the tank that has an outdoor cover on it.

So the little tank appears to be this one but without the little stand underneath. I also got another pincushion urchin since my other one passed away they are keeping him until I get off work. Not sir what i will use the new to me tank for maybe another pico but I would have to get another light and I don't know if I can do that right now.

He just wont leave the thing alone will he? Does he appear to be picking at it or just keeping it irritated?

Get the PC100A from American DJ (ADJ). There are a lot that look similar but aren't as well built. I have five of them and have never had a failure. I buy them through Guitar Center usually.
I bough the "not as well built" ones. 😓

Mast Partners glued, floor boards routed and sanded. ready for stain tomorrow. I'm tired now!

It’s amazing how you got it to just float in mid air in the first picture. Is it an ark, are you expecting a lot of rain?

I have that one on my desk at work. It was actually my first Reef tank years ago when I started back into saltwater.

I don't use power strips, except I do have one, for now, to handle all of the lights until I consolidate them. I've been using American DJ PC100A Power Centers for over twenty years. I mount them vertically so that the plugs outlets are pointed down which makes drip loops almost automatic. No surge protector to blow out and switches for convenience. There is mine early in the build. It is really just a power strip but I like this mounting setup and it is always in my cabinet.

What brackets did you mount that with sir?

Nice sinularia
That’s grew from where the original was after it moved behind the rocks. I think it didn’t like the flow after I added a duel return nozzle. This was the original.
