Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
He'll only be able to come one more time. He leaves for seminary on the 3rd. I'm proud of him, but I'm definitely going to miss him.
The balance of a father. Wanting to see them succeed but hating to see them go. And each child is special, there's no replacing one with another. I wish you both nothing but the best

I've read that they can get up to 14" or more...
I would love to get a bunch of different colored ones and place them all around the tank. it really makes it fluoresce nice at night. Corals Anon is the only large variety place I have found so far but they have a couple there that I'm waiting to come in. (unless they're $$$) but it is pretty hardy.

Made it through the 3rd infusion. No steroids this time. Maybe my sleep will improve. Still makes me tired though.

Any of you guys/gals that have cubes, or have had them in the past, how did you set up flow in your tank. I have an axis 40 return pump and a hygger wavemaker. I feel like I need another water maker. Maybe splitting the nozzle on my return pipe would help too. Im wondering if there's a tiny wavemaker that I could add just for the euphyllia.

My pico is a cube but that probably doesn't help you with a bigger tank. Lol

I had a hygger 2600 I think with my cube. Didn't have a splitter on the return but would be good to hit the surface with one and the other towards the bottom to move flow. I had a hygger crossflow too but gave it to Mike for his 32. They do make a smaller (I think 1600) hygger but I don't think it swivels; just straight flow.

they also have a vortex return.

it's called a random flow generator.

I have a 2600 in my 32g but it sounds like one of these smaller ones like the 1600 is what you’re looking for.

They sell them at petco/Amazon.
Good quality, quiet, just a little flow, magnetic.
Small, perfect for a little area.
