Did you know that it is possible to love those who hate you? Crazy to think that this is possible, but it very much is. A common motto I live by is "love your neighbors as yourself". Even if someone is always mean to you, turn the other cheek. Someone cuts you off in traffic; instead of going off on them, ignore it and move on with your day. You see someone on Facebook spreading hatred about someone, how are you responding? Are you slandering them on Facebook or are you trying to change their perspective with love and compassion? By simply loving those who show you adversity and hate, you actually can change their perspectives on you and those around you. Yes, it is very hard to try to befriend or be kind to those who aren't nice to you. However, the effects of being nice can change someone's life. So today, choose to love those who hate you. We can disagree with the person on their beliefs, ways of living, or the actions they do, but we can do it in a loving, more respectful way. Who knows, maybe you will change someone's life today.
Sending something more modern today for music (trying to do a good mix between modern and old, haha). This is Fellowship, a relatively new power metal band. If you were to look at their music videos or some of their promotional material, you would think they are a joke band. However, they have some amazing instrumental work and very good vocals. All of their songs from this album (released last year) are fun to listen to and will surely put you in a good mood. (Side note, this is one of my top new albums of 2024).
