Here in AZ bait/feed is illegal. When we sit in blinds (rarely) we use tripods and binos. When we sit on hillsides (most hunts) we use tripods and binos. When we sit by the truck we use binos and tripods...

We don't really have much service where we hunt. Weird thing but the deer and elk don't use cellphones very often so I guess Big Wireless refuses to cater to the ones that do.

Cell service is also slow in a lot of the places we hunt so anything on the internet can be frustrating.

Wow! You can't even use cameras! We bait with corn and of course have cameras. That being said we only hunt on private land in Georgia. In North Carolina I belive it is illegal to bait on public land but I'm not 100% sure as I don't deer hunt in NC.

Same in Georgia but they have a huge population of deer which is why we are allowed to harvest so many.

So I got my deliver and it seems like there may have been some casualties. We will wait & see. The Fedex guy did a terrible drop and dropped the box when he delivered it & had it wrong way up. Pretty sure two or three Micro brittle stars died as they seemed to disintegrate or were not in the bag and the water was cloudy. Also three of the 5 trochus snails smell and I think passed and the Skunk Cleaner Shrimp was not moving much. Did not seem fully dead but I am currently drip acclimating him but is not responding to touch :(

We are allowed 1 deer and elk per person per year IF we get drawn during the hunting lottery. We are allowed 1 of each species of bighorn sheep in our lifetime and 1 buffalo in our lifetime. 1 turkey per year, 2 javelinas per year, 2 pheasants per year, and 1 bear, mountain lion, and a few other things.

We are allowed 10 does and 2 bucks a year. We don't have any of those other critters except Turkey's and I don't hunt them so no idea what the showed number is. Lol

I'm hurting looking at those 7 heavy buckets. I'm thinking 2 rubber made garbage cans here on wheels. One clean RO water with salt mix. Other empty discard water. Just roll it up to the tank, drop a pump in and suck it all out, then drop the pump into the new water and pump it all back in. then roll the waste water to the window or door, and drop the pump back in and right outside. Coat the weeds for a salty kill. But I hope you like cats. you will see plenty soon!

I'm just not smart enough to do it any other way but mixing it in 5 gallon buckets.
2 3/4 cups salt, 5 gallons water.
Out and in.
Hardest part is bringing the ro water from the wash room sink to the fish room.
Getting old and weak lol

Let's see if I can make this make sense. During the average day when I'm awake my mind has a ton of thoughts going on in it at all hours the only time my mind is quite or focused on just one thing is when its close to the time that the deer are most active. It's always super peaceful in the woods so sometimes I'm just watching the woods and all the little creatures like birds and squirrels Sometimes I'm talking to God we have had some of our best conversations when I have been up in a tree stand or on the grind in a blind. I do occasionally check in with you guys or play a quick game on my phone but for the most part it's my time to just sit still and be at peace. I hope that makes sense. I do also really like taking pictures and ordered a zoom lens for my phone that I'm super excited about trying on my next trip.

Well you so have the upper hand with the bison. I wont be taking one of those this year. Here you can take 8-13 Deer depending on where you are in the state. But I lost the only private land I had, right before hunting season. :(
And no one wants to put in for the draw hunts up in the Delta, which I don't understand, because that area is legendary.
