My new Meridian Edges came in today and they are more or less mounted:

Internal parasites were alway a problem in discus , is it no problems in salt water fish ?

I've only had discus once and not had much luck, although I know people who are really good at keeping them.
Got any old pictures?
They have always been one thing I wanted to keep and they have always fascinated me.

I need to make a stand for the Bluetti so it is just plugged into the convenience outlets on the stand, Reefbreeders was out of stock on the daisy chain cable for the Meridian/Edges so there's a power strip to run the three lights until I get the cable, and I have the second gyre unplugged while I do a little maintenance.

I think that because these are freshwater, everything dies when it hits the saltwater. Paul says that the black worms "do the macarena" and only last about 10 seconds. Of course, the movement would attract fish.

I like the Meridian a lot and it seems the tank likes it as well. It's too soon to tell on the Edges but right now I only have them at about 25% intensity in manual mode and I like how they add some white to the tank and they help to angle some light into the rockwork better. I bought the 14K versions as I wanted the tank to be less blue without giving up the blues and UV.

We only had 4 this year.
Mellowest Thanksgiving we've ever had.
I made turkey, taters, gravy, cranberry sauce and stuffing.
That's it.
First time in over 30 years I didn't make a dessert.

We only had 6 and my daughter and her husband spent half the day with his family.

All the dishes were done, food put away by 2.
First year it was light outside when we were done.
Took a walk...

The book will go into different ailments that you will more than likely get and treat . Basically I would say if you good at reefing your good to go with discus .

i got my first corals Zoa's opened up GSP is no where to be seen and mushroom still not fully opened yet . Hope they do better in next few days :) this is all so new to me Thanks everyone

I have a 45 gallon up and running for years already with just a couple gouramis.
Was going to put them in there, maybe...
What do you think?
The gouramis are pretty stupid and timid, mostly interested in each other.

Keeping them and breeding them are two different things . You can do it ,it’s just a few things that are a little different.
