I currently use the PE mysis and he has definitely eaten a few. I almost always mix three random cubes up when I feed my fish and then they get pellets throughout the day. I know eating pellets is all but off the table but hopefully i'll find a couple somethings he likes to eat!

I didnt realize brine shrimp weren't very nutritious! Been researching and I might stop buying it. My fish get spoiled i have like 5 or 6 different frozen foods.

I'm not going to say yes or no.
I've only used either buckets the salt came in or restaurant pickle buckets.
Never checked for that symbol.
I've used new brutes for tank transfers, blue Coleman coolers for fish transport, sometimes lined with garbage bags,plastic gallon jugs of frozen water to cool the tank down in the summer and floated gallon ziplocs of ice.
I've never really worried about the plastic as long as it was new and I knew the source.
I'm going to say you're probably okay but I'd never use a bucket from a hardware store without checking it first.

I'm pretty sure that symbol is just a recycling symbol and is not directly related to whether or not an object is food safe. It is to allow recyclers to sort the products for post processing.

Lots of people use the orange home depot buckets without worry Thomas.
I know Luis uses home depot buckets.
If you've got a LFS nearby you can ask them if they've got any extra buckets .
Sometimes they do.
I think you're fine with the home depot buckets just pick some from the middle of the stack and rinse well.

I don't think we need food grade for our buckets. I've used all kinds of buckets and the brute cans a lot of us use for our RODI or mixing are not food grade, they're garbage cans.
