Rebel is very upset with me. Got the past two days he had come back in the house from being outside and I have been baking cookies and have not given him one. He was so funny he would look toward the counter where the cookies are cooling and look at me and bark and when I told him no he couldn't have one he would look at my husband then look back at the counter again and bark at him like he was saying daddy make momma give me a cookie...

No not at all I just put him in the tank and he went to work on them. I believe they were natural hunters of bristleworms.

That's like saying you made him a BLT but you were out of bacon so you put watermelon in it instead. Far be it from me to ever turn down a hot dog but come on we're talking homemade cookies here.

Ok I will give him a piece of cheese as well that's another of his favorite foods. Would that make us even?

Absolutely. Cheese is my super food. Whenever I don't feel good I reach for some cheese. Luckily I don't feel good quite often, as long as there's some decent cheese in the house.

I got one! I just gotta give it some love. I been battling mites, so im gonna bake some soil, I think @Üter recommended that to sterilize the soil, then i'll flood my current culture and start a fresh one!

yes, like 250 for 30 minutes should kill eggs and every other living critter in the sand. Just put like 2" of soil in an aluminum turkey roasting pan, add some RO to make it wetter (not mud), cover with foil and bake at 250 for at least 30 minutes. let it cool down and put it in a sealed bag. if you have plants around the house that already have gnats, place the yellow sticky sheets in there and it will attract and catch them. just don't tell the wife you're cooking dirt in the oven.

these yellow sticky catchers work great.
