Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I don't have one. I suggested it but she said "the spaghetti is not from humidity, it's a bad slice". but we don't have much humidity right now in the house. I didn't look at the package to see a manufacturing date but I just got these in the mail Friday. son unless it was old stock? I actually would like to get another CFS if I see them on sale one day.
Spaghetti is usually wet filament. Brittle is usually wet filament. Humidity over 30% is too much humidity and you have a fish tank in your house.

My youngest son got me some zoas for my birthday but they wouldn’t ship due to the below zero temperatures. I got them today and just put them in the tank. GMK, Trainwreck and a freebie LittleRedRidinghood. I’ll snap a pic when they are open.
That's an awesome present!!!

Yes, he’s been so excited for them to arrive. I told him they are our zaos. He got me White Zombies for Christmas.

If there’s flesh there’s hope!
it's snow flesh now. it was green and fluorescing but it smelled off after pulling it out. it kept shrinking each day. I'm going to do a lot of water changes coming up. just want to make sure this junk isn't in there anymore.

Sounds like the filament has either absorbed too much moisture or is too dry.

I have a white PLA that is fairly brittle when it's humid. I changed the dessicant and it became pliable again.
my indoor humidity is currently 37%. This was new stuff only taken out of the package Sunday I think. It's Amolen silk 3 shades of blue.

Public school results or too many beers today lol?
Congrats for the new zaos my friend, great choice

OK, fish tank goes. I have her keep the filament in sealed plastic bags with desiccant. I have gotten the spaghetti because it didn't;t stick to the plate. I don't want to use glue sticks on it. was thinking though to get a second plate and I could try that I suppose. just checked the CFS and it says 27% humidity on it as it's running. But I can get more desiccant for it.

Have you reached out to them? They're a sponsor on here and they usually are pretty good about warranting their work.

No, I did look back over and the text indicates it would be on the front left corner but the picture is different on the main page and what I saw from others with the lid. It's whatever. I am very disappointed with how thin it is as well. I did go with the luxury one too. I won't be getting a lid for a while since I decided to DIY the mesh on the IM Lid for the larger tank to make it 1/8 inch and it came out pretty good, but wow I was disappointed with top lids. Definitely had a way better result with kraken lids even if it looks a bit more boring so them all the way. I found something that can work at least for now. Had to move some corals around but it is what it is.

Quick question for you tim!

I know you rock the Plank auto feeder but do you know if its okay letting the pump run 24/7 or do you have the pump and the food dispensing both controlled. Also curious how many times/amount of time do you feed. I know you have a larger tank but I can scale it down. I think Jojo uses it as well on a smaller tank. I did a mix of food and I planned to start at 15 seconds twice a day, not sure if that sounds like way too much.

Do you think he would like to adopt a second momma

Luis and I would like to welcome you to the green bottle club!
Im proud to be a part of it! I made some empty green ones last night for sure.

I generally and normally do not like defending @tbrown but am going to make an exception here. If I were him, I would come back with, "Oh, is that right, Paul? That's about what I would expect from a guy who has no elegance." (Too soon?)
Your ability to be hilarious while you're also ripping someone apart is admirable enviable. Not everyone can pull it off!
