Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Here's a full tank shot since I glued the corals down today. I also did a little bit of rearranging of the rocks on the sand and added a piece going from the left section to the piece in the middle at the back since I put one of the rocks with zoas from my pico there.

I will go by the LFS tomorrow to see what if anything they have to increase magnesium. Is there a preferred product or any that are awful that I should avoid?
@Randy Holmes-Farley told me about a magnesium supplement at the drug store one time, maybe he would chime in

Yeah it may be your mix is bad or off. Also do you always run a very high white spectrum? What type of lights do you use?
They are red reef led 90s I have two of them.

What do you keep your salinity at Reef crystals should bring you out to 1350 or 1400 Mag at 1.026 or 1.025. Soft corals also do not consume mag (or at least not much if any)

Unfortunately Instant Ocean sometimes has off batches so maybe do a water test on a freshly mixed batch. I found this post with someone saying their Mag was low on their bucket as well. https://www.bareefers.org/forum/thr...reef-crystals-bucket-has-low-magnesium.32856/
I have had wild swings when it comes to that

I use the red sea magnesium but I am not sure if that's the right product it does work. If your LFS does water tests I would see if they can double check the magnesium. As for lights that looks normal I think. In the pictures I guess its just on your moonlight settings so its only white.

Its one of those do as i say not as I do things.. could easily burn some corals of it lands on them.

Yall did not know this but the key to growing stratosphere zoas is tap water btw!

I have honestly contemplated doing a tap water tank out of curiosity to see what happens.

They don't test its a very small place.
