@kingranch2003 what floss do you use, is flat rolls, or loose fill

Actually, I use Sera floss for cups or baskets. In a small tank I use Sera crystal clear filter balls.

I will say that in April of 2010 I weighed in at 271 lbs. (i am 6'1" tall) when i started the carnivore diet. By December i was down to 200 lbs. I thought I looked good, everyone else thought I was on drugs. I have kind of leveled out at about 230. I look kind of like a younger Kevin....lol

Two years ago in April I started carnivore and quickly went from 205 to 165 in 3 months.
I've struggled with skin issues/rashes my entire life.
In 2 weeks, my skin was perfectly clear.
I've never looked back.
I couldn't stomach just meat so I ate bacon, pork, sausage, cheese as well as red meat.
I've since introduced a little rice and potato but don't feel well afterwards
Being a lifetime cook, I dislike food anyway so the diet is easier for me
The only carbs I eat are pecans and an occasional yogurt.
I do have to be careful since I recently dropped to 148, stress being a huge factor.
When I go all day cooking food without a break drinking only coffee and water I can drop 7 pounds in a day ...

Yeah it's something you get used to but at the same time never get used to... it sticks to your hair and when I'd visit a plant while traveling I'd have to double bag my clothes before putting it in the suitcase or you can smell it through the suitcase.

We were a zero waste facility so EVERYTHING was processed including the doodoo. Smelled like death.

Just like the book.

Thinking of ditching socks and going with floss (flat roll 1 inch thick) so with that in mind, what do you think of this. not worried about any noise from the weir.

Had to move my birdsnest i thought for some reason I read it like high light and it was starting to look a little bleached. I moved it sort of to the mid/lower level where it will still get decent flow. I really hope I caught it in time because I really like it.

this is just an upgrade to my "crab" tank, its been up for at minimum of 2 years, its only had bio filtration and water changes. I have two hang on filters that only have rubble in them . I won the tunze nano starter kit, and feel this is a great time to upgrade the tank. With the AIO in place I can have a better lid (DIY) and improved flow and filtration, also will be putting a Reef Breeders meridian 11 on it (which I won in a give away)

I eat what my wife cooks, but she loves what I do also, I am probably 75% carnivore now, I like potatoes, rice and greens, most of the plates I post here that I cook have these with meat and seafood

I don't know looks like there's new growth on all the tips, someone with better knowledge of birdsnest will be able to tell better.

It was more colorful when I first got it that's why I thought it was starting to bleach out. The top one is what it is supposed to look like...

Oh I see! Let's see what someone with better expertise on it says. I'm curious since I'm also looking at getting some easy lower light SPS like birdsnest, Stylo, and Monti Digitata
