Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I wanted a diamond goby, but they arent the best tank mates for sandbed lps.

Mine usually will make little hills when he digs out his caves initally but I have not seen him eat sand and toss it in the water column or swim upwards. He definitely eats sand but he usually sticks to the ground. He just makes little cave entrances and as long as your rocks are on the bottom glass you should be good. I even keep zoa's on the sand bed with no issue. Maybe I am just lucky.

They look like something from Beetlejuice, and eat detritus and dead things like nobody's business! Those are amongst my favorite snails.

I went to take a picture of the dead trochus that they was covered in them (only 3 on ot now) and accidentally caught the first picture of my new pygmy hawk fish! I haven't seen him since I got him Wednesday!

Sorry I got distracted. Yeah man I totally recommend bb's. They're good about getting in little Rock crevices for uneaten food also.

Awesome Hawk! So I've been avoiding these little buggers for years for no good reason. I always thought they look cool. Going to add a few when I order the Conchs and Pitho crab.

I have probably half a dozen and all my vermatid snails were gone a long time ago.
Amazing, I have a few Vermithid but not enough it's bothered anyone..... Yet!

Diamond Gobies are great at taking a mouthful of sand and swimming up into the water column, then spitting it out or sifting it and burying corals.

Thanks man! Yeah you're gonna love them! Ive slowly added them to my snail mix that is replacing hermits in my tank.

That's the goal for me as well... hermits just do so well during the "ugly phase" so I do like having them at the start.

Very true, and I've had some luck with scarlet hermits picking at young gha.

Just got a call saying Publisher's Clearing House wanted to give me $5,000,000 and a "cherry red GMC pickup truck ." He said they would be at my house in 20 minutes and I needed to get a pen and paper and write some stuff down. I told him I didn't believe him and hung up. My wife and I then received simultaneous video call requests from the same number. We both blocked 🚫 the number. Guess we're out 5 mil 🤪 🤷 🙃
You know that Publisher's is out of business right? Some of their past winners are now out of luck.

I didn't know. Was pretty sure it wasn't them anyhow

Catherine looked up their website. They either show up in person or use certified mail, no phone calls. And....you know....not calling from Jamaica 🇯🇲 👀 😅
