Oh 100% id never do it in my main display, this is just an experiment of sorts. My tap is usually around 140 to 155 but who knows what's in there.

Not bad though. The lowest I've ever seen in our present home is 485. It is typically 900+, except 600+ in the spring,. Plus summer tends to be really hard on the membrane because the cold water supply is usually 90+ degrees.

Too late. I'm at Red Robin. Ordered a Haystack Double burger with steak fries, campfire sauce, and a Dirty Dr Pepper chase it down.

What makes it dirty?

I drink my coffee clean - no cream, no sugar (unless I'm feeling Latte Da) but I drink my Dr Pepper Dirty (heavy whipping cream and vanilla) at Red Robin.

There is a new place popping up around town called SWIG that specializes in Dirty Soda. Basically coffee creamer in soda. I like Heavy Whipping Cream and blackberry or raspberry in a Dr Pepper from time to time.

My newest go-to for when I'm in a Latte mood is "Orange Blossom". It is espresso, steamed whole milk, cinnamon, mocha, and candied orange. It's interesting how the orange compliments the coffee. Not something I'd ever really consider pairing but it works so well! Bananas, blueberries, and has browns are the other things I've found that pair exceptionally well with coffee.

Here in AZ with the energy costs we run our expensive wells in the summer only to offset our costs during the year. Winter months are typically either wells pumped, chlorinated, and then straight to the distribution system or minimal treatment required.

Summer is all wells on deck.

Also, year round we run surface water (at a bunch of our cities anyway). Surface water can change drastically from season to season.

Ya you guys have too much variation because of all the different alternating sources, we have 3 different sources for my zip code but they all are fairly consistent with each other when comparing the water reports. TDS doesn't fluctuate much between seasons.

Just got my reef cleaners order and I don't know why but I was not thinking the coches would be as big as they are! Lol Here's the packing slip of exactly what they sent. They are floating to get temp acclimated right now.

I don't have experience with live phyto but i guess how does it smell?

I would destroy a dirty Dr pepper then. That sounds great.

I dont doubt the orange. I know you dont do beer, but I used to brew a really nice wheat beer with dried orange peels. The oils "did something " to the beer than was awesome. It gave it a good mouthfeel too

Dead Phyto goes basically clear. If you swirl and it mixes it should be good still. If you swirl and it's chunky, it's likely dead. However, corals and copepods do eat dead Phyto as well, it just probably isn't as nutritious?
