Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Looks like they loved it! Ive never tried this food before.
Just got some in my Algaebarn order, going to give it a shot since I hear it's less of an impact on phosphates

Just placed a dinkins order! Couldn't pass up the buy 1 get 1 free sale! Got 2 gallons of pods and 2 of phyto surely that will be enough in the tank to keep the scooter blenny and the red dragonet in pods.

@Calmwaters you must really want that big skimmer, I have never seen you in a giveaway before
I have done several back when I first setup my tank and won a few. I am good at entering but not so good at remembering to do the tagging to get extra entries. I won my orphek light, my skimmer that I can't get right, and an acclimation box and I can't remember what else.

I figured you really want it, I did not plan on getting in it until i seen you were. I have no use for it. hint hint

Do you guys know if the phyto that comes from Dinkins is the kind I could culture?
I would say no, Reef by Steele and reef legends have the single strand. read what they say about each strand, some are very hard to keep, some easy.

I doubt they'll send it back up just so you can watch it splashdown. I guess you can ask though.
don't think I could afford what they would charge

watching the recovery, will replay the landing later
They just said FOUR technicians are entering the capsule…

So… eight people in that little thing!

(Plus a space toilet)

That's what I was thinking I remember reading you need to have a single strand for cultivating pods as well as phyto. Oh well I will just feed all of this batch and that will buy me time to do more research.

No, it is a mixed batch and not culturable, at least not long term.
