That they stay tiny but are active and do well in groups. They love to perch on the rocks. If I were to do a pico again though I would go with either a clown goby or the panda just because of the visibility factor. These little guys spooked easy and would often hide.
If I were grading, and I'm not saying I am, I'd give you a C on your report.
I'm content now, thank you Kephin
How can you be so content with a shunned tank?

I wouldn't understand myself? Oh, here, I fixed it so it makes more sense, "You wouldn't understand, Chris, it's this..."

I am very positive but not delusional. Additionally, I thought I was being generous with a C grading.

(Maybe I am a bit delusional but I cannot be sure, for obvious reasons.)

Smart man!

What I want to know is:

When did the electrical engineers of the world decide it was okay to stop using silver plated high voltage contacts? 🧐
Our treatment site uses platinum for the contacts in our Electro Dialyses Reversal stacks.

I wonder, at the risk of sounding ignorant, if something similar to a zinc plate would work in a reef tank. Electrolysis basically...
Im thinking about something like what outboard boat motors use to prevent corrosion.

It could potentially ward away corrosion and maybe serve as a protective buffer against something like a rusty magnet for example.
No go on zinc. It leaches and also corrodes.
Ah, sadly the zinc is in-itself a pretty nasty metal to contend with in a closed system!

It’s a “sacrificial metal”, basically meaning it will corrode away before the base metal it’s protecting will! (But, it’s still corroding into your closed saltwater system!)

The best bets are metals which are capable of forming a protective oxide layer naturally, such as grade 5 titanium alloy! (Or grade 316 stainless steel for non-immersed components/immersed marine boat stuff!)

As an aside, thread made:

What about magnesium anodes? They basically release magnesium and precipitate calcium carbonate out of the water?

No go. Corrosion and, basically, leaching.

Yes, that's why I suggested magnesium. Magnesium leaching into the tank at a semi controlled rate - basically it would be a form of magnesium dosing. The question is, though, what other minerals and materials would be released into the water as it corrodes and leaches.

In our reservoirs we get piles of calcium carbonate under the anodes and a calcium carbonate coating on the anodes. We hang them directly in the reservoir. Our zinc coatings go on the outside of pipes and are not in direct contact with the water.

This isn't possible. The rate would not be controllable plus, and more importantly, your other statement.
