Just got the second round of tissue removal, hoping he comes back and states he got it all and stitches me up. I think I’m going to hit my lfs after.

I have a heat gun but no heat shrink stuff. I hate to buy a bunch of stuff just to use one tiny piece.
If you have epoxy you can also coat it with epoxy instead. You just want a waterproof barrier around the probe.

I added a section of clear heat shrink to mine. You can also order it that way but I didn't want to pay $20 bucks for them to do it when I had everything needed at the house. I actually added silicone to one end, sealed that end and pushed the tip all the down into the silicone and then used a heat gun to seal it all up.
Nice !

You mean like the coral epoxy stuff?
No, the thinner clear two-part stuff you use around the house. You just want to coat it with something waterproof and non-toxic. I always hesitate to use epoxy around a tank myself. But I have used it, and CA with no ill effects.

I've never tried it but even plasti-dip, once thoroughly dry should work. I've also heard of good results with Krylon Fusion paint. In fact, I think these may be preferable to epoxy.

Do you have cocktail sauce?

Feed them to a tank, small fish soft, and LPS corals love them. But don't wait too long, they are most nutritious during the first six hours after hatch. There will be lots more over the next day or so.
I dumped about 1/2 of it in the tank

Actually, it’s in the 40’s and raining and I was starving and couldn’t stop thinking of hot and sour soup and Mangolean beef to warm me up and it was the opposite direction of the lfs so I skipped it. I’m sure it will be there the next time my face gets mutilated.

I have been carrying mine in a half gallon jug with my back issue if I notice any of them need a refill and my husband's not here to help.
I've been using 32 oz cups. 😬

Alright ladies and gents. I can walk today, very little pain but still an occasional small spasms. Haven't taken any meds since 7am yesterday so I'm definitely on the mend. Headed to the doc here in about 15 minutes.

Yes, that would work. I think I would go with Krylon myself as I hate working with epoxies. You just need a thin coat over the probe and the end of the wire where it enters the probe and make sure it is THOROUGHLY dry before use. I'd give it at least 48 hours and then tap water rinse it a few times before you put it in the aquarium.
