Well, going on 5 weeks without any answers I got a call. My test had for the lettuce parasite ( they said they tested in the hospital but sent out the wrong test)) came back positive. Picking up Bactria at the pharmacy on the way home. Not physically feeling better but mentally feeling better knowing what it is and there’s a treatment.

Oh my gosh I am so glad you finally got an answer!!!!

It’s the parasite from the lettuce going around up here. Bacctrin will clear it up. I got it so bad because I’m immunocompromised.

I'm just so relieved its not something worse my friend! Its bad but now that you finally have some answers you can get better!

it's a good thing that it didn't dry up your kidneys. that's a long time. Were they giving you IV fluids too?

Ya, I went into the hospital with severe dehydration and acute kidney failure a couple weeks ago. You didn’t notice because you were busy eating haggis.

i know paul b says he wont eat stuff grown in mexico. and after all of this lettuce thing i agree. problem is so much of the produce is grown in mexico!
