That's a really interesting band, and part of my youth. The lead singer died young from a stomach issue, and the band just quit playing. Everyone wanted them to pick a new singer and keep going, but they wouldn't continue without him.

I could not even donate blood until recently since I had lived in Europe during the 80's on a military base. Exposure to mad cow potentially. The ban was lifted around 2020-2021.

Have you checked out the DIY version with a plastic bottle, yeast, and sugar? The sugar and yeast ferment and release co2 into the tank!

I have but am worried I would mess something up and kill my fish somehow.

Oh my that is awesome!!! I use to run track in school now i would die after a fast walk... I can only go at a somewhat fast pace for about 15-20 minutes belt my back starts hurting.

The main thing with the DIY CO2 bottles is you need to run air at night during lights out to avoid pH swings. Just get a time and run an extra air pump 30 minutes to an hour before lights out and after lights ramp up.
