1/4" Tubing disconnect?

So after i get my 32g brute filled i want to roll it from the utility room to the tank in the living room. I can disconnect the tubing at the shut off or the pressure switch but wondering if there is something easier than fooling with Murdock quick connect. I don't find them very easy to disconnect. I think i would prefer something like a male female threaded connection. Is there such a thing? I see female faucet attachments but not the male side. Maybe i should buy the Push connect fitting release tool and hope i don't break it!

Are you running one Brute or two? Most reefers run 2. I usually keep the RODI water near the filter. Then roll the salt bucket near to be filled.

I have 2 but have only put a float valve on 1. My thought was to use 1 for out going dirty water and use the other one for RODI with or without salt depending on the need. I wasn't planning on keeping a full RODI and a full seawater container at the same time. But noob so that might change.

Maybe use 5 gallon buckets for waste water. Reefers usually want RODI and salt water on hand to tackle water changes and emergencies.
