I'm ordering a DSA 105 rimless with an external overflow. Here's what I was thinking of putting in it?

Fowlr at first might do corals later

Niger trigger
Green wolf eel
Flame hawkfish
Flame angel
True perc clown
Yellow tang
Kole tang

None of these will be bought over 3 inches.

Am I fully stocked?

I'd say you're way overstocked. Even if you buy all of the fish at 3" or less, they grow. The trigger will probably terrorize everything in a tank that small, too.

I, on the other hand, conditionally disagree on being overstocked, dependant on your maintenance of the tank. And I also find niger triggers to be pretty mellow as far as triggers go. I find that green wolf eels are a little more aggressive, but still not too bad for the personalities of the other fish on your list.

Ok thank you. What would be the fix then, bc the trigger is rated at 180 on live aquaria and 90 on blue zoo?
Ps I have a 40 gallon sump w live sand and lr

Its more about swimming space and temperament in too small of a tank. A standard 180 has a footprint of 6'x2', a standard 90 is 48"x18". If you are going with the DSA 105g it has a footprint of 4'x2'. Also bear in mind listed tank sizes serve as guidelines to get an idea, not hard and fast rules where the whole world will come tumbling down if you dont.

Agreed, but they're still triggers. These guys love to dart around a tank at high speed, especially at feeding time, and their beaks/teeth can do major damage. Make sure you've got a fish trap on hand in case you need to put anybody in isolation or a hospital tank.
