Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. Solidworks is the software used for designing these parts. This project took an unexpected turn, due to one of the glass containers breaking. Back to the drawing board with this one. I'll update it when I come up with a new design for this.

I love this idea, but instead of modifying the beaker it might be easier to just drill a 3/8 bulkhead. It'd be cheap enough to do and would likely give you enough drainage for a 1/4 return line

I contacted the manufacture of the beaker. They claim its tempered. So drilling is a no go.

The other glass container shattered on me as I was trying to bend the glass. I don't know if I didn't have enough heat around the surrounding area or what, but I just needed 1/16" and I would have reached the desired shape for the return spout. Oh well.

Thanks for the input though.

Tempered? Wow, I never would've guessed. I dropped a beaker in the lab once and it definitely wasn't tempered lol.

Hey Cool. Really nice.
Saw your link to here your other 3D tank thread.

Are you posting any of the parts for 3D printing anywhere like thingverse?
I need to make something that hangs on a beaker like you did. For a DIY Frozen Food feeder tube.
Was going to use a Flask but a Beaker with a Clip like that might be betterthan a elastic or whatever I find that fits.

I'm totally new to 3D printing. Barely did like 5 prints on my Ender Pro.
Learning Cad and stuff to design my own stuff (someday)

Hi,

You may have to design your own parts, as the ones pictured only fit that beaker. Take the time to properly learn the CAD software you are using and you will be surprised what you can build with your printer.
