Following along as I just found your thread! Looks like you are off to a great start. I am hoping someone can explain this whole ECOBAK thing to me this weekend.

Ryan, here is where I read up on ecoBAK:

There is a lot of good info on that thread and a couple of local reefers are on the thread, there is also an ecoBAK thread on the MTRC page here. Chris (dowtish) is one of the most knowledgeable people here on the use of ecoBAK. It is basically a food source for bacteria that consume nitrates and phosphates.

Cool thanks Brandon. I did a bunch of research on the web yesterday at lunch but I'll be sure to read up on the link you shared as well. Plan on talking about this at the meeting because I like the concept and would like to incorporate an ecoBak reactor in the near future but don't know the in's and out's of it all!
