It was Dec 14 2004 I was told I had very advanced stage 4 kidney cancer. The Dr in er was very adamant I shouldn't fight and spend my time with family I had 4-6 weeks and probably never leave the hospital alive. I told him it doesn't say Dr God on his white jacket and I trust the Lord to guide me. Obviously I chose treatment and multiple surgeries lost left kidney and a basketball sized tumor attached to it 12-21-04. Had immunotherapy IL2 which worked for a bit to shrink tumors and eliminate some completely. Then the resurgence of it and a pill chemo therapy that was new n worked for years at containing the spread and some shrinkage again. I've lost part of right lung and now as many know do a phase 1 study chemo for what hopefully will be 2 years in May. It's been a long journey and tons and tons of prayers from family and friends many of you here have supported our family through prayer and the latest is a surprise of the kindness of people here on R2R. I want to thank @revhtree for reaching out to me about my salvation when first joining R2R and praying with me for healing and God's guidance. I also want to thank everyone who's said a prayer for us and all the supporting words you've given me/us. Also a big thank you to everyone who jumped into the battle cancer milli donated to buy us a box of corals from @Battlecorals and Adam for his generous heart to match and give credit to those involved. It was totally amazing and shows what Rev and everyone has done to make this the best community on the web.
