The skimmer is made by "Gnome Glass Skimmers" if you want to find the website there is some brief info on it. It runs with an air pump and wood air stone. Here is what I had when I got in the office this AM turned it on around 3 yesterday afternoon.

Got a bunch of new corals had issue with the LEDs fading stuff. Moved them up and turned them down to 35% everything seems to be gaining some color back.

Looks like that skimmer is running real well .. skimmate looks pretty grotty which is good :) But out of glass .. I will have to check it online and see what it looks like: Gnome Glass Skimmer ... Thanks.

I have seen an Australomussa for sale for a long time. Maybe the CITES permits were exhausted for 2012 but it's a new year so maybe we will some around and it will be interesting to see whether their price have come down :)

Yes a very slow grower it is indeed .. and kind of rare and when they were first around pretty pricy too ... I saw some real nice pics of a few but none that are for sale but then I am not in the market for one right now ..

So this tank has changed a bit. I lost all of the acros I think it was aefw tried to put them in a qt but long story short I lost them all.

I added the pillar rock back and added a frogfish. Had him about a two weeks now and he is an amazing fish! He is eating frozen silversides he actually ate one within an hour or two of adding him to the tank. Anyway here are a few new pics.

that guy is awesome! I have a very similar set-up at my desk at work too and I love it. My frogfish is still on live food but alot of ppl here say to get him switched so Ive been thinking about it.

I like your open rock scape, mine is arch-y and my fish is hidden sometimes.

is your workplace loud? My office can be, and the fish seems more sensitive than others in the room to the noise.

Thanks! I have my own office so the noise isn't a problem. I do notice when I get in he is sometimes near the front and slowly works his way to the back or on the rocks. Seems to be very aware of my hands being in or near the tank he will follow them if I am doing something near almost like it associates my hands with food already.

I have done a ton of reading about them and it seems getting them on frozen is a good thing sooner than later. I am very glad it is eating frozen makes it really easy. I have fed him four times now every Tuesday and Friday so far and it will take the silverside in less than a few seconds of it being in the water. Good luck with yours!
