Thanks! Frozen silver sides.
Yes and maybe clam meat may work too as it is a complete food and has a lot of fish oils in it and that is what strengthens a fish's immune system. In fact I feed clam and mussel meat to my fish and corals on a very regular basis in addition to Cyclop-eeze and other complete foods. Nice looking one for sure ...

Where do you typically buy the clam and other stuff from? Definitely would like to give him a diverse menu.

At my local supermarket when they have clams and mussels (live ones) and I then freeze them but put a small piece of toothpick between the top and bottom shell so they are easy to open once frozen. I then use shavings of the frozen clam or mussel meat while holding it over the tank and with a sharp knife just shave off small thin slices and the fish go wild about it, and the smaller pieces get trapped by the corals. Now for yours you may need to feed larger pieces than just slivers ... :)

Time for an update been about a month. The frogfish "Big Ugly" we call him seems to be doing good and eats like a champ and is constantly fishing for food:) Got some new corals as well. Here are some pics.

Beautiful tank! I'm in the process of starting up a 12 gallon cube and love the AI Vega led's you have. Couple of questions if you don't mind:

You mentioned you moved them higher. How high above the water is it?
What %'s do you have your lights on now? What is the ramp up.

Looking at your tank, it looks like you got everything dialed in!

Thanks!

Thanks! Right now they are about 23" from the bottom of the sand. The ramp is 1 hour and I can not remember where they are percentages. Under 45 I want to say, when I get to the office tomorrow I will try to remember to check for you. I am not completely happy with how they are doing most of the stuff is happy and has good color some doesn't

Lovely Tank. Jealous of "Big Ugly" Haha

Thanks alot!

Based on your quote on the AI Vega's, would you buy them again or would you try something else?

Thanks!

Still to be determined. I love the lights in general and the fact they only have one plug is very cool. Colors on the tank look great I think it would be easier to get right with a deeper tank.
