I'm thinking about downsizing my 36 bowfront to this tall tank.

12 gallon tall, Dimensions: 23.6" x 8" x 15.75".

Large penplax canister filter
eheims nano skimmer
current usa orbit marine led
sicce powerhead
spinstream
cobalt nano therm
gravity ato

Creatures:
clown pair
yellowtail damselfish
nem
snails/hermits

Do you think this is a cool nano build? I can't even find a photo of this tank with water in it. I'm curious to hear what others think about this unpopular tank option.

Are you going to have a sump for your equipment? One downside of tall narrow tanks is oxygen exchange on the surface but you have a light bio load. Are you planning on keeping corals?

No sump, just an oversized canister filter. I do plan on eventually populating it with frags.
