I lost everything last spring due to a multiday power outage and am currently rebuilding. My previous tank was established 20 yrs ago and most of my fish were 15 yrs old and older. I am amazed at how much the prices have increased. I like to support my local Western Pennsylvania stores; however, $100 per fish adds up quickly. Where do individuals go online to purchase livestock now?

You will get several suggestions for reputable vendors on here. Mostly I have been using Reef Beauties; stock updated Wed. and Sat. Minimum order is $99.00, box fee + shipping will cost about $65.00. Hope that info helps. I bet your 120-gallon will be spectacular.

PS: I'm having to re-do two 150-gallon tanks due to a major heater disaster, so this time I'm trying my hand at Butterfly fish. So far, so good.

If you are willing to drive an hour, Extreme Tropical pets will order whatever you need if they can get it. All my fish are from there and I have never had to quarantine.@

The only fish to survive my crash was a molly miller blenny. I purchased 6 coral frags and I wanted them to get happy prior to adding more fish. I went to a local store tonight to get snails and they had a regal tang the size of my thumb nail. Since that was my very first fish (and the same size) when the tank was initially set up, I broke down and purchased a friend for the blenny. Watching the corals open up and feed and seeing the tiny tang darting around eating really rejuvenated my enthusiasm for the hobby.

Thank you. I am more than willing to drive an hour. I am on the safety team at Sharon Speedway and my son lives in Dayton, Ohio so I'm across the border a lot. I will make the road trip soon to check that store out

Great to hear, I work in Sharon. I’m driving down to the Pittsburgh airport on February 6th to pick up an order of live rock and live sand from TSA.
