120 lighting

So I'm getting my tank together and starting to look at which lights I may run . I'm starting off with some soft coral and down the road maybe add in some lps. Saw that the budget NoPsyche K7 Pro III has some good reviews by my math 3 of them would be sufficient. Is there a better option in the 5-800 range seeing they are 180 each

If you can spend a tad more a Meridian 35 would be a single unit that lights that tank perfect and is expandable with matching led bars that you can add down the line to supplement

The new spectum is suppose to be really nice…they eliminated the useless red and green leds that most people don’t use, and replaced them with more of what we really want - uv, Violet, blue and white

2- Reefi uno’s is all you need no matter what coral. I have same tank and I have them turned way down since they are very powerful

Braces clear or opaque?
2 braces that block light dirt of divide your tank in 3 tanks ..so best would be 3 of any puck style.
3 Nicrews or Smatfarms are in the same ballpark as the Noops...

When selecting a light, you need two things; ample power and adequate spread.

Power is the amount of PAR that reaches the bottom of the tank. PAR requirements change based on the corals you have.

Spread is the light's ability to cover the footprint of the tank.

Take a flashlight, turn it on and place it face down on a table. Then slowly pick up the light. The further the flash light is from the table, the bigger the circle of light will become. That is called spread.

You want your light to cover the footprint of the tank with ample par.
