I am currently upgrading from a 90g to a 120g tank. I am currently running a pair of Vipar Spectra black boxes. I was thinking about a changing lights on my 120. I am getting more and more into coral and would like to start keeping SPS and LPS coral.

I have been looking at buying a pair of Kessil A360We's but don't know if that would be enough of a step up from what I am running or if I should go another route. My black boxes have done great with my coral growth. I am super new to the lighting game so any suggestion would be great.

All input is appreciated. Thanks!

Were it my tank, I would purchase the 48” reef breeders photon v2+, rather than two kessils. A pair of a360x would work. But you’ll get more even par and Improved shade control with the reef breeders

Would you go with one long one or what would your suggestion be

So I like the light however I am abit worried about programming the light channels and intensity stuff...is this something you have some knowledge in? @Bpb

No I’m old school but any modern controllable led will have something of a learning curve to program it. Shouldn’t be too tough. I imagine there are YouTube videos on it
