Battling bubble algae, which has quickly become my least favorite pest. I'll take vermatids or aptasia over this any day. I have ordered some Vibrant which should be here in the next few days. Hoping for some relief.
My Tominii has finally settled in a little more, he's been out and about but hides in the rocks whenever I get close to the glass. Very happy with his coloring and size. Live Aquaria's divers den never disappoints.
So my cucumber was climbing in the rocks last night and I woke up to find this. He’s alive and well, as soon as I turned off the pumps he landed and started moving around.
Tank maintenance day. Water tests, change filter socks, clean out skimmer cup, refill ATO, misc cleaning. I really enjoy the busy work... most of the time haha
Two separate shipments of Berghia were DOA. I’m pretty disappointed with my experience from salty underground.
Delivery was here in Phoenix during the summer (delivery trucks can easily get 140+ degrees). I put notes in the original delivery suggesting extra insulation. They arrived DOA. Sent pictures in and they sent me replacements. Again I mentioned that it’s super hot and the original package was not insulated well enough. The second delivery was packaged exactly the same, which resulted in the same outcome of DOA berghia.
Tank maintenance day. Noticed my phosphate and nitrate were running a little high, after wracking my brain to find out what changed I realized I hadn’t replaced my DI resin in a while.... reading 21 tds. Oops.
Finally received my berghia. I ordered 10 medium-sized ones for my 120g that is moderate to heavily infested with aptasia. Really hoping that my melanarus doesn't just eat them all up.
