upon Request here I’ll share with you my 125g freshwater South American setup.
My tank is a older 125 gallon 6ft tank, filtered by a fluval fx6 and a marineland emperor 80 gallon HOB. I have pothos plants attached to a floating piece of drift wood that help keep nitrates down.
Fish stocking:
14 silver dollars ( 5 large thin bars, 1 tiger stripe, the rest are spotted )
1 common pleco ( about 13 ish inches )
2 Geophagus red head tapajos
2 red serpea tetras
1 Corey catfish
- Ive has this tank up and running for about 3 years. Going to be getting rid of 11 fish soon to make room for a red Oscar that I’m currently growing up in another tank.

Looks great :)
I've always liked amazon riverbed tanks. A buddy of mine did a similar tank, except he kept red belly paranah.
Red Oscar's are awesome fish and can get huge, looking forward to pics of yours :)

Nice! I've never had silver dollars before -- but they sure are pretty to look at in a school. Thanks for sharing. :)
They are great fish in a large school, if you have a large school they will show there true shoaling/ schooling behavior and is pretty cool to witness, plus they are very active fish!
