180 FOWLR tank

Hello everyone. Jacksonville, FL here. Love the hobby and have had several aquariums over the years. Each one just a little bigger than the last. I currently have 2. 90 gallon reef tank that is set up with freshwater fish AND live plants a 180 saltwater fish only with love rock. I'm a DIY kind of guy. The filter under my 180 was built by me, minus the protein skimmer using a 40 gallon breeder tank. That was a lot of fun. Seems to be doing a great job. I'm still learning. It's like being in science class again. My intentions were to have a reef tank but after doing LOTS of homework, I decided to go FOWLR. I'm a local truck driver by trade. Also enjoy spending time with my family, riding the harley and fishing.

The wife enjoys the fruits of my labor and don't mind me spending money on the tanks.. I guess she likes aquarium life. What's not to like? I do all the work lol.
