So since i bought a new house i figured it is time to get back into the hobby. I found a really good deal on a reef ready 180 with stand and canopy and decided to jump on it. Here is what i have so far

I also have a warner marine K2 skimmer and a Aqueon model 4 sump. I cant wait to get started putting it all together. I got the tank moved into the basement yesterday without any major problems. Here it is in place

Im currently using an 800w Finnex Titanium Heater using my Apex as the temperature controller. Before that I was using a pair of 300w Eheim Jagers. Id rather have the redundancy of two heaters, but I was having issues keeping a steady, stable temp with the Jagers because my basement is pretty cold year round. With the Apex and Finnex I have a stable 77.8 - 78.4F temps constantly.

There are digital and analog temperature controllers as well. BRS just did a video about types and brands of heaters that might help you make a decision for your tank.
