2 39w or 1 80w?

I have a 180g main tank and I want to add some actinic supplement. I was just wondering if 2 3ft 39w t5s would be better than 1 5ft 80w bulb that doesn't go the whole length of my tank?

personally i prefer VHO's for actinics. just my .02

Well doing math 80 watts is going to be cheaper on the long run than getting 4 x 39 watts

On the lighting 5 feet will cover you with light. The ends will have light with no worries
just put corals that need less light in these areas
But you will be fine

Dont use actinics if your going to supplment go with 460 nm bulbs ATI Blue plus is the best for that

5' bulbs are the way to go for sooo many reasons.
