You must be watching the wrong thing buddyI’m not doing a ulns with dry rock I watched some of it and I don’t like it, id rather just have like 1 documentary or a couple documentaries or something not like something which is in my opinion mainly promotional. I would recommend it to someone who is doing a ulns though
What? From what I remember they talked on and on about tons of dosing and dry rock and stuff that I am not planning to doYou must be watching the wrong thing buddy
Yes I have a very large populationDo you get a large microfauna population in it?
Depends on the petco. Some are ok and others are run the heck away...Is petco worthwhile to get like starter fish and frags b/c it’s close. We have a specialist petco I think
I am not sure that UFO LED grow light you picked is a good idea. It's a grow light which means the light spectrum are geared more to growing plants and not corals. In any case I would be willing to bet that it will grow algae very well in your tank as wellOk I have my list here now that it’s revised 438$
Well don’t discourage the education on dosing as you have inquired about dosing already. They cover everything about setting up tank, parameters, equipment and everything to set you up for success and moreWhat? This light would be good for a refugium but not so much for the main display tank.
You need something like these
Nems have a foot and can walk aroundI know, I would just place the nem there and see if it grows. If it dosent then that’s okay
The baseline knowledge in that series covers 95% of your questions. Don't be too quick to disregard good info because it isn't EXACTLY your setup. Very very little if that is ulns specific.I’m not doing a ulns with dry rock I watched some of it and I don’t like it, id rather just have like 1 documentary or a couple documentaries or something not like something which is in my opinion mainly promotional. Ok honesty time bud. You had about 50 individual unpaid unsponsored hobbyists trying to give you GOOD tailormade information yesterday and you completely disregarded about everything.I wish a completely unbiased hobbyist would doccument their journey through a tank and talk from their perspective and not be bribed by big companies who give them free coral
You know hes sponsored by saltwater aquariums.com rightCan I watch saltwateraquarium’s video series he sounds good. Do I just skip the hard coral stuff for now?
Ok went through his stuff, i think the hydrometer should be replaced with a refractometer as swing arm hydrometers are notorious for being innacurate. All for reef is easy to add but need to monitor calcium and alk and hasnt been around for awhile due to shortages and the pandemic, anyone know a good 1 solution alternative? Here’s what I got I will prob get like a kit for calc alk mag and then a ph test
He isn’t like talking about many brands he just names products and dosent like kinda push it onto the videoYou know hes sponsored by saltwater aquariums.com right
