Probably fine in a fowlr or they release minimal tannins when they decompose.

I think it will be worth a shot. Just remove the wood if it gets bad. Even softies have a breaking point.
The dendros you have planned is probably the highest concern with the chemicals released. Not a coral I would want to risk.

Not sure. I’m not too well versed in lighting.

Carbon doesn’t do too much for tannins ime. I would assume the same for chaeto.
Tannins themselves act as antibiotics, but the use of them in marine is similar to in a rift lake setup. No real need as the organisms are not naturally prepared to be exposed to it.

From what I know about plants seems like the plants would remove the DOC from the wood. I am gonna put 2-3 sticks inside and I think it’s gonna look awesome.

Dissolved organic content. I’m not doing like a wood aquascape in freshwater I’m just adding twigs for detail and as a food source for copeopods and a source of nutrient for macroalgae of biofilm.

I did some googling about the aqua knights, it says they have like 80 par in corners and then like 120 direct underneath

Ah okay. It won’t be as fast a process as you think, but yes it would be good for bacteria to grow on. The initial introduction could cause a mini cycle with the explosion of bacteria and release of nutrients.

Baking Soda??

Please use a chemical safe for aquariums, to keep stable water hardness, rather than using baking soda.
