I don’t like nicrew, does it actually grow stuff? When I used the most expensive one on freshwater and it was oversized, all I could grow was hornwort and water lettuce and I had dirt and I had fertilizer

It is powerful enough to grow freshwater plants, I’ll tell you that much. I don’t use any liquid fertilizers in any of my tanks, just root tabs for the Vallis/crypts.

Since you aren’t going to be getting these things for a while longer, you could wait until I get some frags and I’ll keep you posted to see if it will grow them out nicely.

What do you by it was “oversized”? As in it was to big?

It was like 1500 lumens which can’t grow anything except lowest light stuff

I got the 48” one for a 40 breeder and it couldn’t grow anything

Here’s my 20 gallon. It is 7 months old. I do monthly wcs and is loaded with growing coral. I do have nice equipment (AI hydra 32hd, vortech, tunes ato)but other than dosing daily and testing alk and calcium every 3 days it is minimal maintenance. I have tons of sponges, pods, worms, etc. only have 2 fish. However, I went through all the uglies in months 3-5 (cyano, bryopsis, dinos). Just be aware your tank is gonna have to mature as well.

Ha ha im really LOL literally now.i been gone 1 hour or so and extra 6 pages or so.
What making me laugh is someone suggests something like look google for regulations on picking up stuff from beach then you ask if seeds are ok to pick up from beach instead looking up on regulations on google then ask if tank be insta cycled with coraline rock and someone gives you their opinion.but then
