Wow, guys, just wow. As usual, ASD did not disappoint. The frags are already looking great. I mean I ordered 23 frags and they all look good. One may be pale, but after a few minutes in qt, it is perking up. I will wait a day or two to take pictures though. Really let the polyps come out.

However, I did get shots of my 4 new maxi mini nems. I only dipped these guys well and add to main tank. One of the few things I do not qt. These and rock flowers. Large nems like malu and carpets I would treat in special tank if needed though.

They are all green with hints of blue, purple, red, bright green depending on nem. So far pumps still off for attachment, but looking great. Phone pics, so not the best.

Had some fun with camera again today. I did not use a tripod, you can tell. I want to do some top down, but did not have time today. Actually had to work. :)

Okay. Got some pictures of the AquaSD frags tonight. So, only been in tank less than 12 hours. Ignore the brown algae. It is a constant battle in the frag/qt tank. Two or three frags I could not get shots of due to camera angle and light.

Enjoy. Cyphastraea first

Wow who would have thought all the troubles with fish disease and losses from the transfer. And then all those battles with GHA. Your tank is doing good now and with all those new additions, it’s going to look very different going forward. Good job.

Thank you. It has been a crazy hard battle for the new tank. Considering I had a stable system I really did nothing to for so many years. On the upturn now though. Very happy with how it is going. Hope it is at a good balance as will only have a few things to add from qt. Maybe a clam too. :)

Well, to fight the dinos battle, my large tank is on a uv filter for a bit. Seemed to work wonders for the frag tank and the 40g tank. Just will take longer because it is not a very powerful uv.

Hoping this will fix my red sand. Maybe I will have to get one more fish. A sand sifter. We will see.

Full tank shot today with my phone. I have a horrible phone. My daughter stole my husbands second DSLR, so I have only my phone right now. Ugh. I am currently treating for red cyano. As you can see, it is needing a further dose. :)

Super happy as everything is growing nicely and all fish are happy, eating and growing.

Okay, my two crocea clams are driving me crazy. They have been great until I changed up the flow a bit and moved them. I had to check for pyramid snails and found a couple. Ugh. I check often and have not seen them again. The Squammie got stung by my malu, but seems to be doing fine. The giga is great. The croceas will not open nice. They are jumpy at anything going near them.

I guess it is time to get a nice rock drilled out to put them on up off sand and get them happier. Silly things.

I have a squammie and maxima coming this week-end. They will go to qt for a while. Super excited.

Yes, I plan to just take rock with a good shape and cut it out to make it better for the clam. I have two done tonight and will put them in tomorrow. I always have tons of rock in my sump. I keep it live and for pod growth and bacteria population. If I move some out, I add some back in if needed.

My light fans came on tonight. Weird since my lights were not on. Well, I programmed them to come on if temp gets above 79.7 degrees. So, in trying to figure out why they went on, I saw the temp. In trying to figure out what would cause a temp spike with heaters controlled by my Apex, I investigated.

Dumb me, last night when I finished my water change, I plugged in one heater to my carbon reactor. So, it was on for over 24 hours straight. Brought heat up to 80 degrees.

Should be no harm done really. Gets that high in summer and was steady at about 77 so no huge swing.

Okay, temp is back down to 77. The clams also came out nicely today. Still not to full extension so I did put on carved out rocks and one a bit higher in tank. Hope to get another video soon. Added my new corals in after they were qt'd too.

My next order from AquaSD comes Friday. Oh, goodness I cannot wait. Two clams and a bunch of rock nems and maxi minis. My tank will be full! A few zoas for my garden too. Cannot wait to get that back into the system too. Growing nicely in qt.
