I currently have 5 triggers a Clown, Assasi, Blueline, Pinktail and Niger in my heavily stocked coral reef along with 9 other fish. As far as reef safe, talking from personal experience they are actually more reef safe than they are given credit for. Main thing is they don't show any interest in any of the big variety of corals I have. My snails and hermits have learned quickly to all become nocturnal feeders to avoid any fight for survival with the triggers although the hermits that are not as bright do become a snack on occasion although its very rare and the snails are completely ignored. Since they only come out at night i dont count the cuc except on rare occasion. I did check in the middle of the night the other day and from what was visual as I have alot of rock, a few days ago I counted 20 hermits I could see and there's probably atleast another 20 or so in the rocks and i counted 10 snails.

Them Needing to be removed after I fell in love with them. And at our lfs their blue bird wrasse in the display ate all their cuc. Only thing they can keep are the big tiger cowrie. I am just now getting my HA algae under control that I have been fighting for months. I will keep them on my maybe list though incase I later feel it is worth the risk. I get very attached to my animals and am still sad about my banner butterfly I had to rehome last year.

What size is your tank. You have way more rock and corals then I do for things to hide for sure. My 240gal has 3 islands. And my corals are still frags.

You could try a pink streaked wrasse instead of a six line
