What happens when the tank neglected for 7months? Tons of pest brown star polyp grow out of sudden and killing most of the sps.
This time thinking either decom or reset.

Feeling down and giving up cleaning the tank when everytime walk n sees the brown polyp out take the colony's of your corals

What to do. Since my country lock down for months and staying home looking on it? If decom no transport. So it's time to RESET!
Clean off tank walls to see which rocks to take out bleached. Eventually is 80% of the rocks have to clear to get rid of that freaking brown star polyp

Most of the rocks are taken out and bleached.
Past 2nd time rescape has made the brown polyp spread even faster.

By Brown star polyp, is that equivalent to Aptasia? Or equivalent to green star polyp? Either way, it is a pain to get rid of it all!

It grows like star polyp but these brown polyp if u peal off one piece using twizzlers other still will stick there compare with starpolyp much more easy to take it off. Some get injured already still it will open up again in few hours. If you just leave it there for a polyp, within 2 months u can see it spread triple portion.

Off track abit :p
While been locked down at home for 2 months. Watching too much of scaping and always wanted to try out a in tank sand waterfall :p and son keep wanted small fishes.
Take my old 2.5ft quarantine tank and convert it into a freshwater tank. And thanks to my buddy YS for the used rocks. So everything just DIY and online click buy sand and seed
