Back to the tank!
Night time bad pics. Why are clowns always so happy and healthy!!!
I can come down to my quarantine tank at 3 am clowns are dancing around like the world is their oyster!!!
Hippo tang has just recovered from ick! Foxy is eating everything in site! Flame angel cant figure out why she is putting up with beauty!
Yellow tang went on hunger strike because someone dipped a penny in tank!
But clowns! Dancing around. Wanting to lay eggs on anything lay able!
I think a tank full of clowns!!!
Yes they are so happy they swim upside down:)))!

Edmonton Reefer here...

Take @Humblefish advice...

I use chloroquine phosphate for my QT for 30 days, then I switch to 2 rounds of API General Cure... This gives me copper, prazi, metro.

I QT my coral and inverts in one tank for 30 days, I'm not going to do 74 but you can.

My DT isn't set up yet but I have these QT running while I'm renoing.

Make sure you keep your copper consistent as I see you have a lot of fish in your QT and are probably going to be doing lots of water changes.

If you need help you can contact me on here, I can also add you to the Edmonton Reef FB group as well, the information here is better, but you get connected to the local community, which is helpful in times of need...

Ram
Yes would love to be part of Facebook group:)

I got some comments that cleanup crew was to small.
With fish in quarantine I think crew was just right and are doing a great job:)! Yes crew is to small when tank is full of fish and corals...but I think this is one mistake I made in the past. Over doing cleanup crew early on. It has taken 3 weeks but the crew is catching up:)!
I think on my past tanks. Crew cleaned up everything in a week and then starved:)
I will order more as I see what pests I need to control:)!
Very happy I started out slow.

That's odd. If it were around the gills I would think possibly ammonia burn, but I'm not sure about that location on the fins.

Hopefully somebody will chime in with a helpful answer for you!

I think your right and immediately did another 20% water change but that's.... 2 today ..do one every morning...as well as add complete bacteria....as well as use DT tank water for water change??

Time to start thinking about setting up mineral replacement. I would like to use a calcium reactor supplemented with Neptune DOS system.
Long time before I need but would like to start setting up and have it dialed in before I need it. Would appreciate any advice...well...good advice:)) on using this method. Will have about 700 gallons all-in. Is duel chamber necessary? And has any one tried putting calcium reactor effluent into protein skimmer to bring up ph?
Oh yes and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

Run duel chamber avoid headaches, go your own way at your own peril / reward.

Use a medical dosing pump or high grade dosing pump to feed the reactor.

Give it a whirl.

Thank you Sir!
Was leaning to duel chamber ...could use one of my DOS outlets...got 4...for feeding reactor...great idea!

"go your own way at your own peril / reward."

Are you implying that dosing and reactor are a mistake?

No you wanted to use one chamber and feed it into your skimmer.

I told you quit being a clown and get the duel, it's a simple fix to raise the ph out of the reactor.

I really like this:)!
Simple nori feeder but no suction cup. Move around anywhere in tank without getting wet:)
Very strong magnet...solid strong clip.
Thumbs up on this one!
