The Eibli is still a little shy. He did come for food and I've seen zoom by a few times. So I figured I'd let him be for now. The green goby is still fine. Just sits, as they normally do. No further updates.

Eibli Angel photos

Fed the little critters this morning. I'm pretty impressed with how well the Eibli is eating prepared foods. I have had 2 prior to this and didn't have much luck with them in that regard. But this one is extremely eager to take them. So as he was out and about eating, I decided to take a couple of photos.

Happy to see the progress. Nice images!
Thank you, sir! I felt like I was stuck for awhile. The kessil isn't the light I first had in mind, but it will do nicely. All the other lights I considered were out of stock, suppliers were waiting for them to come in. Weeks and weeks. I can't wait to get the 40b set up though. lol, the sad part, I JUST got this one to where I like it. I'm thinking I may keep them both up. I don't know yet.
Your tank is coming along quite nicely as well.

Sad update:
The Eibli and the Sunrise Dottyback both went carpet surfing within 24 hours of each other. I was going to go out to get supplies for a cover and came back to death.

Good update:
Bought some pods sometime ago and have seen a massive explosion of them on the tank walls. When I go to wipe the walls, I wipe off swathes of pods and in a few hours it's covered again. Beautiful. So I bought a Red Scooter, a feather duster (never actually owned one before,) and some Jasmine Polyps. I'm not going to do anymore livestock buying until the 40g is up and running. That is my project for the weekend. It should be up and going by the end of next weekend. Motivation to do anything hasn't been around.
Recently got in an order of algaes from live-plants.com. Awesome for the money. Didn't really buy a whole heck of a lot but the portions are well worth the wait to get them. Codium, halimeda, shaving brush, and a few other things is what was bought. Tank looks much nicer in my opinion.

Not up yet. :) The tank still sits empty in the living floor. I'm going to sillycone the overflow on tomorrow I reckon. I also have to fix a hole for return and then I guess there's no reason it can't be up this weekend, perhaps by Tuesday.

Although I did say I wouldn't add anything until the 40b is up, I couldn't resist. Saltwaterfish.com had a decent sale this weekend. So I got quite a bit of things:

  • Pygmy Cherub Angel
  • 2 feathers
  • Sunflower Alveopora
  • Assorted Zoas
  • Peppermint Shrimps
  • Deresa Clam
I've not owned a clam before, so I hope things go well with it. Pictures post later.

I really like your tank. It has given me a lot of ideas to steal. (LOL) I need to start my own thread now.

Ru roh! I've never actually had many before. I think the few that I did have were eventually eaten by another fish. This was years ago, though. Thanks for the heads up.
